Optivo: our accommodation partner

Optivo is a housing association and a registered charity committed to offering affordable student accommodation across London and the UK. Its commercial operations offer a wide range of accommodation, specialising in halls of residence and youth hostels, to suit the needs of university students and summer language schools groups, as well as independent budget travellers.

We offer fully furnished single and twin rooms with either ensuite or shared bathroom facilities. Our residents have full access to shared kitchen and dining facilities, lounge areas to relax, meet other students or use for group study, as well as outdoor space to enjoy during the summer months.
All bills are included; our residents don’t need to worry about hefty deposits, council tax, heating, water, or electricity bills – even internet and contents insurance are included in the price. Cleaning is provided in all communal areas from Monday to Friday.

Student Rooms London

Our student rooms in London and across the UK are situated in accommodation properties with onsite management staff to ensure each residence is maintained to a high standard. Your safety is extremely important to us so we have security officers outside office hours and on weekends. Electronic key access and CCTV cameras operate on each site for added security.
All our university halls and hostels are ideally located for quick and reliable transport links across London – many of our properties are within walking distance of the most popular university campuses in Central London.
Optivo works in partnership with several higher education institutions including SOAS , Middlesex University , Brighton University , Southampton Solent University and several NHS trusts to provide affordable accommodation for their students – and student doctors – in London and in various regional keyworker sites.

Our Mission

Optivo aim is to provide affordable, clean, safe and secure environments for UK and international students regardless of their social or economic background, helping our residents to focus on their student experience. In a rental market that is increasingly pushing more and more students into debt, we strive to offer rooms to rent in London that are modern and high quality – for rates below commercial market value.
Over the last four years our Study4Success accommodation scholarship has to date, awarded accommodation scholarships to six university students with a background in social housing for their work in their local communities.
